We have just witnessed a lie of monumental proportions sold to much of the American public. A large portion of the US has been forced to accept becoming enslaved to the tax consequences of completely out of control spending on social programs and patronage that likely will never be ended. People are actually expected to believe that we needed to finance these increases in spending of money we DON'T HAVE or we would suffer financial consequences. Some are swallowing it.

I see no conspiracy, subscribe more to the Chaos theory...Bunch of greedy bastards using your and mines dime to buy votes promising shit to people who don't contribute to the system,,,raising taxes and spending money they don't have to fullfill bigger and bigger promises...equating in incredible waste.....

Ultimately it all boils down to one thing and one thing only...

It doesn't matter who needs what, or how bad they need it, or bad we/ or the gov't would like to give it to them.or how wonderful the concept is of your favorite social prgram, or how much we "need" to do this or "need" to do that............the money has to come from somewhere...period....shit doesn't grow on trees......

If any of us ran our households like the feds run the budget we would be in jail eventually....

There is an end game to this and it ain't going to be nice....

The gov't needs to get out of the "making things nicer business" and get back to what it is constitutionally supposed to do, defend our BORDERS, deliver the mail and keep the general infrastructure of the country in good order.........There are a lot of "nice" things the gov't does for people, but tanstafl will always apply.........

We have half the country paying about 1% of the taxes and pulling in about 30% of the reported AGI, the progressive tax system is completely out of hand, the common response to that is "but those people were taxing the hell out of are the ones making all the money" well, yeah, thier is income disparity, but the progressive system is still that progressive, the top earners are paying a much greater percentage of taxes as it relates to percentage of total reported AGI than the bottom earners, no one needs a free 'effin ride....Social programs will HAVE to be cut, the military budget will have to budge and worse of all, the pyramid scheme we call social security will have to be fixed or else it's all going in the crapper......

Reflecting on the last few years, I remember when the President took over our health care system against the clear wishes of the American people?made us more dependent on foreign oil ? passed a stimulus bill that was enormously expensive and didn't create jobs ? grew the national debt from nine Trillion to 14 Trillion and counting ? and brought the greatest country in the history of the world to the point of flirting with bankruptcy.

Agreed. Where's is Ronnie when ya need him? In all my time with the DOD, I never felt more safe, more proud being in uniform, than when Ronnie was in office. He may not of been perfect (as who is?), but the man loved his country. He lived an hororable life. Some may not know but he was a cpt during WW II. I think he stayed stateside. He also did not like the world rich elite club, the owners of the Fed Res and ACLU. He was almost murdered, like JFK and McKinley. Prob for that reason. The 1st Bush spoke of the NWO. He was next in line.

My thoughts on all this blow stimuli and spending in general. If one wants to bring in another form of gov't, the old one, especially a free one, has to be destroyed. If the base of that society is removed, pushing God out of public by using the gay blade, mohammers and common socialism, along with keeping our borders open, having different languages now, as to aid in loosing sovereignty (which also brings in drugs to dumb down people and cost us in crime and, for some, gov't dependency), with busting the economy, making the Fed Res funny money totally worthless, it's all not a good recipe for the avg free American.
