Will there be time to admire the scenery? I know I've ridden the twisted sisters in TX two different trips now, and all I remember is lots of twists and ups and downs. Too darn busy negotiating the next twist to see much scenery. lol

Lol, I know what you mean! On the ride back from Thunder Trevor and I took the lead I was trying to enjoy the scenery but it was soon evident that if I didn't choose to ride I would become part of the scenery. :rip:
Riding hard or scenery viewing are two different things and cannot be combined!:biglaugh:

I have my fun but i also enjoy the scenery. You cant do both at the same time but you can do one or the other throughout the ride. The main reason im taking this route is to see the scenery. I mostly try to keep it at speeds so i can drop into second and grab a wheelie over a hill catch third and hit some twistys hard and than back out of it and start hunting for another hill. And if a long straight come's up i blast down it and than start hunting for another hill. I dont go balls out all the time but i do have alot of fun when i ride. beside how can i enjoy 2nd gear rollers with tom if all we do is go balls out. We are hooligans and hooligans have the most fun in first and second gear.

So does this mean you are going on the ride with us tom.

Really yall riding up to NY to escort me down you guys are amazing! :D

I guess if your going through all the trouble to set this ride up I may as well join in.............:biglaugh:...............Tom.

I have come up with some nice routes and gas stops, we will get fuel at 70 miles into the ride. and i will try to keep it at 50 miles to 70 miles for gas. I saw a few pull offs near a river and near rock walls in the mountain for pics. we will be riding in a valley so we can see the mountains that we will be riding in. Im up for a 12 hour ride 6am to 6pm if you guys are. Or we can do 8 hours or 10 hours. The more time the more we see. If we do 7am to 5pm we will see alot. It all depends on how early you guys can get up and get going. I think we have 6 going so far and thats a good size group to keep a good pace. It would be nice to have 10 or so.

I have the route on paper now so if you are going and want a copy of the route pm me and i will bring you one. I only made 12 copys. Breakfest is at 6am in the hotel. ass in seat with a full tank of gas at 630am. I will be leaving the hotel at 630 sharp so we can get back for some parking lot fun.

after we get to parsons wv i have a short route and a little longer route we can take. We will see how much time we got.

Was going to try and make FRI but i don't even know if I can make SAT now. Crap at work and still waiting for my starter clutch part!

It looks like it will be about a 250 mile ride.

So this ride is starting at the days in parking lot? kickstands up @ 7AM?

Hmm. Its a 1 hr ride to days in for me. By the time I got there, I'd need to get gas before the ride started. Guess I'd need to leave home around 5:45 to get there on time.
