Last night, I uncovered her slowly, caressed my hand down her back feeling her curves and then I turned her on with an instant twist of the key........vrooommmmm..... she responded ever so quickly to my beckon! SWEETTTTTTT......

Now if my galfer brake lines would get back from callie all cut nicely to size to finish up the winter mods and make me street worthy again!

Polished the billet rims to mirror then rode into town just in time to watch the local Kawasaki dealership burn to the ground. :blink000: (I shit you not).

did about 200 miles this weekend. awesome.

only one thing. i have a tiny tiny bit of oil coming from the outside of the dust steal on one of the front forks. doesn't seem to be spilling out, just damp with oil. could be residual, but if a fork seal is leaking, doesn't it come out on the tube itself?

oh and found a tiny oil leak coming from the front of the stator cover. damn.

over the last few days, starter clutch
crimp fix
sissy bar (thanks Garrett)
rear valve cover gasket
Fix exhaust rattle
drilled out factory exhaust for a little more growl
oil change
Tested battery and charging system
Ready to ride:punk:

Took my neice to 5-Guys @ USC for burgers. Man she thought she was something else getting off the VMax with all the college boys looking at her holding her helmet(she's 14). She loves to ride!

You lucky dog!! The glacier won't even THINK about receeding up here for another month or so. :snow::tantrum::snow:

Just a suggestion 'veg' but you may want to adjust your mirrors before getting out in traffic!! JK man!! :biglaugh:

I would in a NY minute Garrett, but the dirt road is all salt soaked mud right now....she'd be plastered before I even got to the blacktop! :bang head:

Just gonna have to wait a little while longer.

Glad to hear you're getting some miles in tho. :punk:

I fired mine up today.......warmed it up good.......man it runs sweet......

42 degrees.......partly cloudy......slight breeze......perfect day for a ride!!!!!:clapping:

I then looked at my driveway.......between the ice and snow and the lake forming at the end of it........I would crash, burn and die before I ever even made it to the road covered in an inch deep sand and salt mixture:damn angry::damn angry::bang head::damn angry::damn angry:

I need RAIN!!!!!!!!

2 solid days of rain......to melt the snow and ice and wash the roads......

RAIN DAMMIT:damn angry:

Of course it will probably SNOW again........

Changed oil in the Vmax (Mobil 1) the bike does run cooler but 500 miles later the clutch started slipping, so i went and bought another filter and a jug of Rotella T to change back to a non synthetic oil. I hoping this will help the clutch slippage.

Started it up for the first time since mid-November. 3 revolutions and it fired right up. Boo-yah!

It just started raining here.

Sean
Don`t feel bad sean,
It`s been raining off and on out here in so cal, so I haven`t even had a chance to ride out to Fargo`s place either.
Oh , by the way, I`m going to be getting a settlement soon from workmans comp and, the ol` lady said that I can get a header and can set up for my max but I`m kinda looking for a used 4 into 2. ( I don`t like the 4 into 1 look much).

I only get about $800.00 and the rest has to go into the bank but I`ve always wanted to get a decent exhaustand a muscle kit for the max so, I think I`m going to try to squeez $1,000.00 out of it but, she`s going to want some casino money too but I don`t worry to much cause she`s usually pretty lucky.:clapping:
and I want to ride my bike today if I don`t get rained on.( i`ts been raining almost every day out here and i`m getting frustrated along with cabin fever).

theres a deal in rochester for $1000 or so.

Got most of the ass end back together, had new steering head bearings pressed onto the stem and installed it, and ALMOST got my new R1 R/R wired in (BIG thank you to vmax626 for multiple PMs and some time on the phone giving me tips on this one). I took plenty of pics so I will write something up on it soon. She's coming together slowly, but surely. I'll be posting a ton of before/after pics once she's ready ;)

Got a call this morning from Joe at Boxenstopp and he told me that my scoops have cleared customs and now are headed my way. So I went out to the garage and dug out my paint gear. Everything is put back together now. so by next weekend the reaper will be finished for the summer and ready to go. Traced out a pan for the pillion, I'll cover it and mount it this weekend barring any heavy homework load.

Put a few more bucks in the supercharger fund. Hopefully by summer 2011 I'll have the fundage for the new unit.

supercharger fund, thats wicked, cant wait to see the pics of that monster, might just have to bring her down to the yukon for a look-see
