Awesome Trip to Colorado on the VMAX

we had a blast, 5 days total. left Wichita, KS on wed afternoon. Arrived in Oberlin, KS that evening & left for Denver the next morning. It was 38degree windchill when we left Oberlin, oh & it was raining lol.

My buddy Paul went on his VFR 750 and we only had to syphen gas from his tank to mine ONCE! lmfao

Out with it. What was your total itinerary? Colorado is my favorite place to vacation. I see the Gorge. Did you get a chance to visit any other fun Colo destinations while there too?

ohh mainly just riding & enjoying the scenery & awesome friends. we did the gorge as you noticed, the other pics are from skyline drive (near the gorge sorta). we hit up the New Belgium brewery in Fort Collins on saturday ( rode with friends where Shannon was the DD) so that worked out great then we went downtown denver to Great Divide brewery, followed by the Falling Rock taphouse which had a tremendous selection of brews. There was a Rockies game so there was plenty of people out & about, beautiful evening so we walked down a few blocks to a sushi spot & sampled what they had to offer(along with a bottle of Sake) lol.

We had 2 full days in Denver so that pretty much kept us busy. other half days were saying hi/bye to friends & riding to half way destinations (oberlin, ks)

Sounds like a great time was had indeed. A person can't go wrong with Colo as a destination IMO.

Shala & I had toured the Coors brewery a couple times in the past there in Golden. Have to hit the ones you mentioned the next time we are in that neighborhood.

the 1.5 hours north to Fort Collins is well worth it. I believe there are 14 breweries in that town, people just ride bicycles around to each one.. New Belgium has some of the best beer in the country imo!
