That and other responsibilities(grrr) around the yard. But at least I wil get my long awaited heated garage started (YAY!) and a lawn to mow(boo!).

Next year I go to work on the brakes; new rotors, calipers, MC. Maybe move to a '93 or newer front end.

Too much on a new 04
$800 on UFO exhaust
$125 on led taillight
about $450 in chrome
$160 on other leds(turn and brake again)
$150 to ceramic coat rusty stainless exhaust
There's more that I've probably forgotten about.
So about $1685
I figure about $8000 and 20 years and I'll be done!!

bought the 97 in 2000 with 3k miles on it for $7560.00. i would itemize the mods and costs of each, but i would be here forever!! since i started modding this bike from stock 2 years ago, i have over $17000.00 into it. at least thats what the receipts total up to and i just spent another $2000 on the otec triples, a completed 04 r1 front end, shift light, and the isr masters-both brake and clutch. so at this point we'll call it $26000.00-and i still see spending another 3-5 before its totally done. ya i'm a little bit sick but i love my max. my ole lady aint into the bling so even after 8 years together she still hasnt asked for a ring. she hates jewelery. its a true sickness and we should be able to seek help somewhere lol!!

You in MD? I'll tell Antonio to put you on our local riders list if you want to go on some group rides

I spent about 11 or so on the bike and am at about 8 in upgrades which I installed myself. This bike has NEVER been back to the dealer or a customizer.

:thumbs up:

About 19 in it and I love it. I don't see 19 when I look at it, but I see a bike that looks the way I wanted it to when I started.
