Not that I expected you to know this but, that was code for I'm in the Air Force now, I'm treated like a pimp due to my prior jar head service and these are the bitches I was talking about. Paste it onto your desk top and zoom in and I won't need to explain much.

Got a friend who did the same. 14 years as a jar head, then went AF. He was the PTO for the flight while he was in my area. Tall, lean, and a rock. He ended up being one of the chosen at random to fill an AFSC that was weak on bodies. He's at Peterson now. We still email. He bought a Hardley 3 years ago, spent over 3k on the drive train last year, then got a new, white Goldwing, with all the trim'ns. He was one of a very few that I'd let ride my old Max.

I'm an aircraft mechanic for American Eurocopter in Grand Prairie Tx. I mainly do AS 350s that have been hard landed. Its a great company to work for. Seeing a helicopter come in on a truck bent and twisted and then flying on it a few months later is awesome!

That's sweet...I didn't really think you were a real pimp, but wasn't sure what you meant, how you like being a zoomie?

we had a Sikorsky SH60B that smacked the tail bumper on an auto and then when it landed it ripped the stbd main landing gear off and pushed the radar up into the bottom of the airframe. Then when it was in the hangar being taken apart they dropped the Main gear box on the cockpit lol. I was lucky enough to get to do the functional check flight on that POS. took about 25 flight hours of vibration analysis to get it tuned in after the 9 month overhaul lol.

BTW, i'm an Aviation warfare systems operator in SH-60B helicopters. I do anti submarine/anti surface warfare. Crew served machine guns (Gau-16 [.50cal] and M60/M-240 [7.62mm]. I'm also a rescue swimmer.

Its OK, Not quite the excitement I was used to but I'm getting older and the family is tired of moving, plus two wars is plenty for a life time. I joined in the summer of 87 after high school and thought nahhh we'll never go to war. WRONG! So I'm in the rear with the gear now. We deploy but only to cool places, no more GP tents for me, its motels with air. Took quite a while to get used to it I tell ya but I still have the Marine pride and have no way abandoned my roots. I let the young men I work with know it almost daily.
