Final mod, brake light when in neutral.

I decided I wanted to do this mod. This is a mod that will light the brake lights when you are in NEUTRAL, only if the KICKSTAND is UP. I first discovered rear brake modulators, and realized that would be a good safety addition. Those send various flashing patterns to the rear brakes when...

    Rear brake safety lighting etc

I'm becoming more aware of this issue as I often sit at a stoplight in neutral, hands and feet off brakes = no brake lights = increase risk of getting run over. So.... I've been looking at the signal dynamics back off brake modules, the ones that have programmed flash/repeat patterns...

Be sure to check your rear brake foot switch

Mine needed adjusting. I had to depress the rear brake too far, before the plunger switch would activate. In other words, under light rear braking, my rear light may not have been activating. Here is the image. The adjustment nut tightens clockwise. Just a safety heads up!!!

Anyone have any input as to options to get rid of or relocate the speedo cable when going to the Tokico calipers? I have a stock speedo currently and without going to something digital/electronic I am not if I have any option to clean that up a bit. Thanks!

    Two Line Front Brake

I'm about to upgrade to braided brake lines. It will be cheaper to run a two line instead of three to the front calipers. Do I just run two identical fittings to the master cylinder? Crush washer between them? Will a need a different banjo bolt?

Have a 1998 Vmax and live in the tropics. A. Is there anything that I can install or apply to the fork tubes to protect them against dirt or rust or both? I know there are some weird wrap-around protectors but they do not look good (my taste). Options are: 1. I am tempted to...
