its about an hour and 15 minutes from monroeville, not sure about altoona i would guess 45-60 minutes .

Monroeville would be a bit over 1 hr maybe 1.5.

See if you can track down our VMOA banner flag for the parade. I havent seen that thing flown in ages, but I know we have a nice big one to display. Back in the days we used to display it proudly for the parade.

The flags you are talking about. A member had them made and paid for them out of their own pocket. The VMOA does not own them. The member that had them made has possession of them. If you would like I can contact them and see about using them for Thunder. If they still have them. All the VMOA has is the vinyl banners.

Thanks for that information. This is the first time I have heard about someone personally owning the flag. If they are attending Thunder, perhaps we can ask if he wouldnt mind sharing the flag for the parade!
