As of right now the weather guys are saying high 50's - low 60's for Saturday. I'm thinking if the showers are going to be starting in the late afternoon, early evening (like they're saying now) then this might work good for us.

We could meet up at the Rigor Hill Diner http://www.restaurantica.com/ny/chatham/parkway-diner/23286745/map/ about 11:00 or so, do the 2 hr or so run, and still beat most of the showers. And really, a shower at 60 degrees really isn't a big deal, to me anyhow, not like at 45!

What d'ya think guys....should we move the status of this run from "maybe, possibly" to "You know, it just might happen"?

We can make a final determination Friday and upgrade to "See y'all in the morning" or downgrade to "It's sure a long winter...shouldda gone on that friggin' 3 States Ride when I had the chance!"

Whichever is appropriate. :biglaugh:

Me personnally....if it's in the neighborhood of 60 degrees, and only 30% prob of showers (current forecast)....I'm going!! :punk:

let me double check my wifeys plans but it looks good for me.

Danny where are we going to meet? Oh wait I can't go, my bike is down for repairs. Didn't you mention that your bikes get jealous if they BOTH don't get ridden equally? I can help you with that so they don't get mad at you.

Here's a link to a web cam with local weather information for where I live. I work east (right of the camera) of this location about 1500'. It is located on the Bay Mills Community College's Library over looking a classroom building entrance/ parking area/ Lake Superior as it enters the St. Mary's river. In the distance on a clear day you can see Canada, which is about 3 miles across the water. The camera is pointed in a N/ N Easterly direction.
It's been raining from late last night and is forcasted to rain all day today and up to 25 mph winds.

Hopefully this mess of weather won't hit you guys until you are all home and have your Vmax's tucked safely into the garage.:punk:

Have fun guys!!!!!!!

Redbone's weather is scheduled to arrive here noon tomorrow.........

High winds and heavy rain........

No riding for me tomorrow:damn angry:

The "tough inner core" of Easterners went on a nice little ride today, Twistedmax came over from Mass, RS92s1880 came up from Red Hook, NY and Dannymax rolled down off the mountain about 3 miles or so to the meeting spot on the Taconic State Pkwy.

The weather wasn't the best, drizzley, rainy most of the way but the temp was a real nice 65 degrees, which made it really pleasant. The wind blew the bikes around a few times boosting pulse rates up a bit but all in all a nice cruise.

We stopped at Brownie Run Central (my house) for some coffee & cookies, swapped a few lies, then back to the point of beginning for g'byes.

Thanks guys for coming out in the less than terrific weather to make the ride a real fun time! I really enjoyed it. :thumbs up:

Hey, the bikes look pretty clean in the pics....eh? We know different tho, huh!!! :biglaugh:

Looks like you guys had a great time. :clapping:

We did have a great time Tom but we're missing one thing.....a Gen-II!!

We got the local HD guys pretty well shivering in their boots, what with all these v max's roaming the roadways and all.....but, we REALLY need the "BIG DOG!"

Specially one with Texas plates.....come on up man, cruise with us awhile!! :punk:
