Finally, I have just heard from my doctor that I am almost done with my medical problem, just one more procedure to go this Friday, and I will be A-OK!!

Back in June, I was diagnosed with kidney stones. One was 9mm by 6mm, the other was 17mm by 10mm. Generally the largest that will pass is around 7mm. After lithotripsy, the only thing that happened, was the 17mm stone broke inn half, the wrong way. So I ended up with a 9mm, and two 17mm stonea, and a stint shoved up somewhere you don't want to think about, to keep the stones from trying to pass.

After a long and tedious medicine regiment, to disolve the stonesI learned today that I am completely stone-free!! Stint removal will be Friday!!

Also got a call from the dealership, saying my Max was 100% fixed and ready for pickup. It only been 4 months getting a rebuild (under warranty), I am going after it tomorrow!!

Oh Happy Day!!!

i CONGRATS ON THE STONES , WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR " MAX " THAT REQUIRED A REBUILD ?

I don't even want to think about trying to pass a 7 mm stone much-less multiples of them! Good luck w/the bike being done. Yeah, what-all happened & was done?

Sounds like YOU are finally going to be able to go your way!
Congrats!

Now that what i like hearing about!!!!:eusa_dance: Maybe we can get together after Deer season. I am not riding much right now, to many to dodge!

Give us the low down on an 07 rebuild.

Happy to hear that you can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

I had kidney stones a few times and damn that is pain trying to pass them.

Hope your bike is back up to tip top shape too.

Mike

As for the Max, it must have been running lean on the top end for a long time, but I was was trying to see what top end actually was, I got to 142 mph, and burned a hole through the #3 piston.

Bored, bigger pistons. Rings, seals and gaskets.

And a carb sync. 8)

I was just at the ER last Sunday with kidney stones and WOW they hurt like a bitch I'm still waiting for them to pass but I don't think their as big as yours. I had them once before the day after moving to Hawaii and that time they had to operate and put a stint in. That was one I'll never forget, they lingered about a month before passing that time. I'm just drinking a ton of water and they put me on Flomax and hopefully they pass soon. They say their the male version of giving birth and the first time I had them. Wish me luck, at least I know now after seeing the specialist yesterday my prostate is fine. I just need to ride more to get these things moving and passing. We'll see... Ed✨

Dealing with kidney stones bites!................Glad to hear things are getting better for ya!....................Tom

That's good news!!

My mother is going thru the same thing right now, so I feel for ya man!

Glad you're on the back side of it

Hatter, glad it's working out for you. Missed you in Eureka Springs this year and also in Fayetteville.

I had a 7mm stone back in Aug this year and 40 minutes of lithotrypsy turned it into a billion pieces. I never had any pain to speak of, except the first 6-8 hrs after the proceedure. Guess I got lucky.

ps. I think the stint is put in so that your kidney can pee around the stone(s) and not allow the stone to plug up the works - aka requiring emergency surgery.

Here's to seeing you back in action soon!!!

I've had stones since the early 80's. One blocked the entrance to the tube from the kidney to the bladder requiring emergency surgery thru the back into the kidney. One was blasted by the sonics. One was stuck in the bladder. Had to go in thru the urethra and be pulled out. Fun experience. Have passed many. All in all, not great fun... :Ouch:

Hatter, glad to hear the Docs got you fixed up!!!! And congrats on the bonus of getting your Max back in good running condition!!!!!!!

Had a k-stone pass after a gymnastic fall in my youth---- haven't had one since and hope I never do again (it hurt).
Good that yours are gone.
